GCC Participates in National Safety Stand-Down 2016

The purpose of this observation was to raise awareness of preventing fall hazards in construction. Stand-Down is a voluntary event, sponsored by the US Department of Labor, Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA). GCC capitalized on this opportunity not only to focus on fall protection awareness but all categories of safe work including:
  • Access & Egress
  • Caught In/Between
  • Equipment & Vehicles
  • Excavation & Embankment
  • Fall Protection
  • Material Handling and Storage
  • PPE
  • Planning
  • Traffic Control

Celebrating the Positives through Workforce Appreciation
Throughout our one-week safety campaign, we took some time to celebrate the positives and thank our crews and teams for the work that they do. We served breakfast and/or lunch at our project sites.
