Project Details:

The Loyola Drive/ Interstate 10 Interchange to New Airport Terminal Project is a design-build project in Jefferson Parish. This project includes a diverging diamond interchange for the Loyola I-10 interchange with flyover ramps to and from New Orleans and the LANOIA. The bridge work on this project includes two flyover ramps and widening of the Duncan Canal Bridge. The flyover ramp substructures consist of concrete piles and footings with "Delta"-shaped columns and wall piers. The superstructures will consist of slab spans along with LG-36, LU-48 and Steel Tub Girders. The project will include over 11,000 LF of noise barriers. The project will include earthwork, drainage structures, subgrade, base course, concrete and asphalt paving.
